Sthefany Brito, the Brazilian actress and sister of actor Kayky Brito, is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her second child, a baby boy named Vicenzo. The actress is in the final stretch of her pregnancy and is ready to welcome her little one with open arms. Brito shared her excitement with Vogue Brasil, confessing that her emotions are running high. “Since I didn’t know anything the first time, I was more excited than anxious. This time, the anxiety has hit me hard in the final stages,” she said. “Vicenzo was very planned, it took me a few months to get pregnant, and I remember how every month I would be hopeful and the negative test was always frustrating.” Her first son, Antonio Enrico, will turn four years old in November. The boys are the fruits of the actress’s union with businessman Igor Raschkovsky, whom she married in 2018. Brito shared some photos of a photoshoot that she did to capture the last moments of her pregnancy. In the interview, she discussed the changes she has experienced in her second pregnancy, how she is preparing her son for the arrival of his little brother, the dynamics of her family, and her support system. “Enrico kisses my belly, hugs me, asks to take a photo of him with his brother,” she said. “If it depends on me, they will be as close as my brother and I.”
In an interview with Vogue Brasil, Brito also talked about the differences she has noticed between her first and second pregnancies. She said that she is much more tired this time around. She explained that since she already has one child, the demands and routine are much more exhausting. She also mentioned that she has been feeling more “things” in this pregnancy, like back pain, heartburn, and nausea. “I confess that I am more anxious this time around. Since I didn’t know anything the first time, including what to expect, I think I was more excited than anxious. Now, the anxiety has come with everything at the end. I can’t stop imagining what it will be like to have Enrico and Vicenzo together. I’m dreaming of this moment! I think everything becomes a little lighter because since we already know what’s coming, we are a little more prepared.”
When asked about her emotions for the arrival of Vicenzo, she replied, “They are on the surface! Every day I tell my husband, ‘Do you realize we are going to have two children?’ (laughs) Sometimes, I still don’t believe that he’s so close. Vicenzo was very planned, it took me a few months to get pregnant, and I remember every month I would be hopeful and the negative test was always frustrating. I remember that feeling like it was yesterday and now I am here, so pregnant and so close to him being born. It’s very exciting! I am anxious and feel very blessed to have my boys.”
As for how Enrico is handling the news of his brother’s arrival, Brito shared that her son is excited. “He kisses my belly, hugs me, asks to take a photo of him with his brother… Today he even asked if he was going to be born today. He talks a lot about his brother, he includes him in his games. But there will definitely be jealousy, I am already super prepared for that. He is very attached to his mommy and I think he will feel it at first. But I will do everything I can to make him feel included and he will be part of everything. I want him to be always with me! I have already explained to him that Vicenzo is coming to add to our family, to make it bigger, that he won’t take anything away from him. But we will only really know that in day-to-day life. I think he will be a very protective older brother.”
When asked about the birth plan, Brito said that she is still undecided. “I don’t know yet. Whatever is best for the two of us. Enrico was a cesarean and I don’t regret it because at that moment, it was the safest thing for both of us. I just wish he comes healthy and everything goes well.”
As for the family dynamics with two children, Brito explained that she has a great support system. “Yes, and I have an incredible support network! My parents help me so much with Enrico since he was little. He loves to sleep at grandma and grandpa’s house and always asks to go there, he is super used to it. I think Vicenzo will be the same, especially since he sees his brother always at his grandparents’ house, when he is older, he will want to go too. And on a daily basis, I do have help from a nanny, yes, and I am very grateful to be able to count on that.”
Finally, Brito shared her dreams for the future. “To see my children grow up, healthy and united. I only ask for health for our family so that we can live everything incredible that God has prepared for us. And professionally, I really want to be an entrepreneur. When Vicenzo is a little older, I will take some projects off the ground. In the meantime, I’m going to enjoy my boys a lot. If it depends on me, they will be as close as my brother and I.”
