Sthefany Brito, the beloved Brazilian actress, is glowing in the final stages of her second pregnancy. She recently shared intimate photos on Instagram, showcasing her baby bump in a stylish blazer and tailored pants, radiating happiness and anticipation for the arrival of her son, Vicenzo.
In an interview with Vogue Brasil, Sthefany candidly opens up about the unique challenges and joys of this second pregnancy journey. While she admits to being more tired this time around, she emphasizes that the added demands of parenting two children bring a new level of fulfillment.
“I’m much more tired this time around, mainly because I already have a son, so the demands and routine are more tiring,” she shares. “I’m also experiencing more physical discomforts, like back pain, heartburn, and even some nausea returning in the final stretch.”
But the physical changes pale in comparison to the overwhelming emotions she’s feeling. “This time, I’m more anxious than I was with my first pregnancy,” she reveals. “Because I didn’t know anything back then, I was more excited than anxious. Now, the anxiety is in full swing in these last few weeks. I can’t stop imagining what it will be like to see Enrico and Vicenzo together. I dream about that moment! I think everything becomes a little easier because, since we know what’s coming, we’re a bit more prepared.”
Sthefany’s heart is overflowing with love and anticipation for Vicenzo’s arrival. “My emotions are running high! Every day I tell my husband, ‘Can you believe we’re going to have two children?’ (laughs). Sometimes, I still can’t believe he’s so close to being here. Vicenzo was very planned, it took me a few months to get pregnant, and I remember every month I was in that expectation, and a negative test was always frustrating. I remember that feeling as if it were yesterday, and now I’m here, very pregnant, so close to him being born. It’s very emotional! I’m anxious and feel very blessed to have my boys.”
She shares her excitement for her son, Enrico, to welcome his little brother. “He kisses my belly, hugs me, asks to take pictures of him with his brother… Today he even asked if the baby was going to be born today. He talks a lot about his brother, includes him in his games. But he’s definitely going to be jealous, I’m already super prepared for that. He’s very clingy to Mommy, and I think he’s going to feel it in the beginning. But I’m going to do everything I can to make him feel welcome, and he’ll be part of everything. I want him always by my side! I’ve already explained that Vicenzo is coming to add, to expand our family, that it won’t take anything away from him. But we’ll only really know day by day. I think he’s going to be a super protective older brother.”
When asked about the birth plan, Sthefany admits, “I don’t know yet. I just hope everything goes well for both of us. Enrico was born via C-section, and I don’t regret it because, at that moment, it was the safest option for both of us. I just hope he comes healthy and everything goes well.”
Looking forward, Sthefany is excited about the new chapter of family life with two children. “I have an incredible support network! My parents help me so much with Enrico. He loves sleeping at his grandparents’ house and always asks to go there. He’s super used to it. I think Vicenzo will be the same, since he’ll always see his brother at the grandparents’ house, he’ll want to go too when he’s older. I also have a nanny’s help on a daily basis, and I’m very grateful to be able to count on that.”
Beyond the immediate joy of welcoming her second son, Sthefany has dreams for the future. “I want to see my children grow up, healthy and united. I just pray for health for our family so that we can live everything incredible that God has prepared for us. And professionally, I have a great desire to start my own business. Once Vicenzo is a little older, I’ll pull some projects out of my drawer. Until then, I’ll enjoy my boys a lot. If it depends on me, they’ll be as close as my brother and me.”
