Melco Resorts & Entertainment has announced the grand opening of Studio City Cinema on June 26th, marking a new era of cinematic excellence in Macau. This state-of-the-art cineplex is situated within Studio City’s newly completed USD 1.2 billion complex, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. It will be the first Dolby Cinema in Macau and Hong Kong, boasting a seating capacity of 770.
Studio City Cinema features 9 auditoriums, offering a range of viewing experiences. Five VIP suites provide a luxurious and exclusive setting, while a specially designed theater with paired seating caters to intimate gatherings. The highlight is the Dolby Cinema, equipped with Dolby Atmos® for immersive sound and Dolby Vision® for stunning visuals, creating an unparalleled cinematic experience.
Other auditoriums feature advanced technology like RealLaser 4K projection, with three equipped for Dolby Atmos, guaranteeing a high-quality and immersive movie-watching experience. Melco aims to enrich Studio City’s diverse entertainment offerings with Studio City Cinema, providing unforgettable experiences for locals, tourists, and film enthusiasts alike.
