Subaru of America is celebrating a remarkable 27 consecutive months of sales growth, with October 2024 marking another significant milestone for the company. The automaker reported a 1.5% increase in vehicle sales compared to October 2023, reaching a total of 54,552 units sold. This positive trend extends beyond a single month, as Subaru also announced a robust year-to-date sales figure of 548,164, representing a 5.2% increase compared to the same period last year.
One of the key drivers of this continued success is the unwavering popularity of the Subaru Crosstrek. The compact SUV achieved its best-ever October sales with a remarkable 15.7% increase, selling 15,928 units. This surge in demand for the Crosstrek reflects the growing popularity of compact SUVs among consumers seeking a balance of style, practicality, and fuel efficiency.
Subaru’s other popular models, the Outback and Forester, also contributed significantly to the positive sales figures. The Outback, a long-standing favorite among Subaru enthusiasts, secured the second-highest selling position in October with 13,549 units sold. The Forester, known for its versatility and safety features, saw sales increase to 13,431 units as production continues to ramp up to meet growing demand.
