At Intersolar Europe 2024, Sunwoda Energy showcased its integrated energy storage solutions and its commitment to supporting the green energy transition in Europe. The company’s energy storage system (ESS) specialists, Eugen Budjugin and Steven Wang, gave informative presentations on Sunwoda’s offerings. They highlighted the company’s All in One, SunESS Power, and Oasis series for residential, commercial, and industrial applications, emphasizing their focus on sustainable and safe ESS solutions.
Sunwoda’s new systems enable the creation of PV+energy storage or PV+storage+EV ecosystems, thanks to their seamless integration with leading inverters and accessories. This approach supports global energy transformation from a user perspective. Addressing the critical issue of safety, Sunwoda unveiled a new 5MWh liquid-cooled battery storage system (BESS), 625Ah cells, and a 10-meter mobile storage vehicle. This vehicle represents the world’s highest capacity mobile energy storage solution for utility scenarios in 2024. These solutions incorporate multiple thermal runaway prevention mechanisms, ensuring safety and stability during energy generation and transfer, even in emergency power scenarios.
Sunwoda’s commitment to a sustainable industry is evident in its capital investments in raw materials, battery big data management, cascade utilization, and battery recycling. The company collaborates with partners to drive technological breakthroughs that promote energy savings and carbon emissions reduction throughout the industry chain. Earlier this year, Sunwoda launched a 100,000-ton intelligent lithium battery recycling and energy storage production project in Shandong Province. This project encompasses the entire recycling and reuse process for lithium batteries, including collection, dismantling, sorting, processing, refining, and extraction of reusable materials for battery production from discarded units.
Lithium batteries provide a valuable source of materials like lithium, cobalt, and nickel. Recycling these materials helps conserve resources, reduces environmental pollution, and decreases dependence on raw materials. Sunwoda has executed projects in over 100 countries, with its cumulative installed ESS capacity reaching 13.55 GWh as of May 2024. With nearly 30 years of experience in the new energy sector, Sunwoda has developed a comprehensive industrial structure encompassing upstream battery material production, energy storage systems, and battery recycling. The company is dedicated to protecting the environment throughout the entire lifecycle of its energy storage systems, supporting energy transformation and development in Europe and globally.
Sunwoda Energy, a subsidiary of the Sunwoda Group, specializes in comprehensive energy storage solutions, including grid energy, ESS for homes, commercial and industrial (C&I) and utility applications, and smart energy solutions. The company also provides source-grid-load-storage-cloud integration, with a business model covering sales, investment, construction, and operation throughout the lifecycle.
