SuperAI Launches at Singapore AI Week, Asia’s Largest AI Gathering

Singapore AI Week kicked off with the global debut of SuperAI, Asia’s largest AI gathering of the year, which took place at Marina Bay Sands from June 5-6. The event promised an electrifying atmosphere, uniting international industry leaders at the forefront of AI and providing unparalleled networking opportunities to connect the tech ecosystem. Throughout the week, thousands of attendees from around the world engaged in a diverse array of workshops, meetups, hackathons, and industry gatherings held daily across the city, showcasing the next generation of AI technologies.

SuperAI also announced the launch of Genesis, a premier AI startup competition that received over 700 applications. Genesis featured 10 shortlisted contenders, including Betterdata, Betterteem, FAIT, Float16.cloud, Hoc-trade, Lytehouse, NeuroMesh, OpenOrigins, SparkBeyond, and Verbalate, who competed to impress thousands of attendees and a panel of esteemed venture capitalists. Powered by Amazon Web Services, Genesis promised to be a highlight of SuperAI.

SuperAI was attended by leaders in the global AI ecosystem, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Boston Dynamics, Nvidia, Salesforce, and Stability AI, boasting a dynamic mix with over 70% international participation. Featuring a jam-packed lineup of over 150 frontier innovators and thought leaders in artificial intelligence, attendees witnessed cutting-edge advancements and transformative AI applications reshaping technology.

Headline speakers included Marc Raibert, Founder of Boston Dynamics and Executive Director of The AI Institute; whistleblower Edward Snowden; prolific angel investor and entrepreneur Balaji Srinivasan; Emad Mostaque, Founder of Stability AI; analyst Benedict Evans; Raoul Pal, Co-Founder and CEO of Real Vision; Ben Goertzel, Founder and CEO of SingularityNET; Jonas Andrulis, CEO of Aleph Alpha; Chih-Han Yu, Co-Founder and CEO of Appier Group; and Nir Eyal, author of “Hooked” and “Indistractable,” among others.
