Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) candidate from Baramati, Supriya Sule, daughter of party chief Sharad Pawar, was warmly received by women in the Khadakvasla assembly constituency in Pune on Wednesday. The women offered her ‘prasad’, a religious offering, as a gesture of their support and blessings. Sule is seeking re-election from Baramati, a stronghold of the Pawar family, in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. The Khadakvasla constituency is part of the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency, which is currently represented by Supriya Sule’s cousin, Ajit Pawar.
