Jeremy Swayman will return to goal for the Boston Bruins when they face the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 3 of their first-round playoff series on Wednesday night. Swayman, who was an All-Star this season, went 3-0 against Toronto during the regular season. He made 35 saves in the Bruins’ Game 1 win on Saturday.
William Nylander has yet to play in the series for the Maple Leafs. There has been no explanation for his absence. He has started participating in practice, but not fully.
Ilya Samsonov will start in goal for Toronto. The game will start at 7 p.m. ET at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and will be televised on NESN, TBS, and FuboTV.
