North Whitehall, PA – Fire crews fought a fast-moving, two-alarm blaze for several hours early Monday morning at two trucking buildings in the township. The fire, which ignited around 1:00 a.m. at Doctor Diesel and OCS Transport located at 4822 Kernsville Road, caused extensive damage to the buildings.
The property, situated just off Route 309 in the Orefield section of North Whitehall Township, prompted the closure of Kernsville Road from Route 309 to Shankweiler Road as firefighting operations were conducted.
State police and fire investigators are actively investigating the cause of the fire, which necessitated the response of multiple fire departments to the scene. The extent of the damage and any reported injuries are yet to be ascertained.
