Sylvester Stallone is back as Dwight Manfredi in the first teaser trailer for ‘Tulsa King’ season 2, released by Paramount+. The second season will premiere on Sunday, September 15th in the U.S. and Canada, with international Paramount+ subscribers able to stream it the following day, September 16th.
The 30-second clip showcases Dwight’s continued efforts to build his empire in Tulsa, declaring, “Tulsa belongs to me now.” However, trouble looms on the horizon with a powerful local businessman and the Kansas City mob waiting to make their moves. The teaser even reveals Dwight spending a brief period behind bars, a setback he’ll overcome thanks to his connections.
According to the season 2 synopsis, Dwight will face the challenge of keeping his family and crew safe while managing his affairs. He also has unfinished business back in New York.
Joining Stallone in the season 2 cast are Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Tatiana Zappardino, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, Domenick Lombardozzi, Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.
‘Tulsa King’ is the brainchild of Taylor Sheridan, the renowned writer and showrunner, adding another series to his growing portfolio at Paramount+ and Paramount Network. Sheridan’s popular series, ‘Yellowstone’, dominates cable TV, while ‘Mayor of Kingstown’, ‘1883’, ‘1923’, ‘Special Ops: Lioness’, ‘Lawmen: Bass Reeves’, and ‘Landman’ are exclusive to Paramount+. Terence Winter and Craig Zisk join Sheridan as executive producers.
The first season of ‘Tulsa King’ debuted in November 2022 and all nine episodes are available to stream on Paramount+. Additionally, CBS will begin airing season 1 on Sunday, July 14th.
