TA Services Welcomes Jody Hay as New Human Resources Director

TA Services, a leading North American third-party logistics provider (3PL), is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jody Hay as its new Human Resources Director. Hay brings a wealth of experience and expertise to TA, having spent nearly 30 years in various roles across diverse industries including manufacturing, healthcare, and consulting.

Hay’s appointment reflects TA’s unwavering commitment to its values of service, results, innovation, and a people-first culture. In his new role, Hay will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive HR strategy that aligns with the company’s values and supports its rapid growth across its diverse divisions. This includes establishing new policies and building a team of dedicated HR professionals who will be strategically placed in each division – brokerage offices, warehouses, and mills – to ensure specialized and responsive support for all employees.

Prior to joining TA, Hay served as a regional vice president for a major healthcare organization, overseeing a team of 20 HR directors. He also built an HR department from the ground up at an automotive parts manufacturer, showcasing his ability to adapt and lead in various environments. His educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in labor and industrial relations from the Pennsylvania State University, an MBA from Louisiana State University at Shreveport, and several HR and Lean principles certifications.

One of Hay’s initial priorities will be to develop an advanced performance management system designed to provide employees with regular feedback and growth opportunities. The HR team will also work closely with TA’s talent development department to develop tailored learning and development programs, bridging performance management and career advancement.
