TAAG Angola Airlines has announced the upcoming arrival of its new Airbus A220 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, each sporting a refreshed livery designed to reflect Angolan cultural identity. This updated visual identity proudly showcases the PALANCA, a revered black antelope and national symbol, prominently featured on the tail and winglets of the aircraft. The livery also incorporates color patterns inspired by Angola’s traditional Samakaka fabric, further emphasizing the airline’s commitment to representing national pride.
Passengers will soon have the opportunity to experience these newly branded aircraft as the Airbus A220-300, with a seating capacity of 137 passengers (12 in business class and 125 in economy class), is scheduled to join the TAAG fleet in the third quarter of this year. This marks the debut of this new branding concept, signifying a significant shift in the airline’s visual representation.
