Apple’s entry-level iPhones have been criticized for their lack of a 120Hz refresh rate, a feature found on the Pro models. But according to reports, this will change next year, with all iPhone 17 models, including the standard and the new iPhone 17 Air, boasting a smoother 120Hz experience.
Despite offering upgrades and new features, the iPhone 16 continues to disappoint with its outdated 60Hz display. While Android phones at various price points have embraced 120Hz screens, Apple continues to hold back this essential feature on its standard iPhone models, leaving users with a noticeably choppy and less fluid experience.
The classic first-person shooters DOOM and DOOM II have been bundled together and re-released with a plethora of enhancements, including online cross-platform multiplayer, community-made mods, and support for 4K at 120Hz. The enhanced bundle is available now for $10 on all major platforms.
