Asus has announced the ROG Ally X, an upgraded version of its original handheld gaming device. While official details are scarce, leaks suggest a price tag of $800, $100 more than the previous model. Despite the increased cost, the ROG Ally X reportedly features the same Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and 7-inch 1080p display. However, it includes a 1TB SSD, an upgrade from the original’s 512GB capacity, and a redesigned battery with over 40% increased capacity. Other rumored changes include upgraded RAM, redesigned buttons and joysticks, and a black color option. Asus is expected to formally reveal the ROG Ally X on June 2nd, alongside its official pricing and specifications.
