India has announced its intention to bid for the 2030 Youth Olympics, a significant step towards the country’s larger ambition of hosting the 2036 Olympic Games. The decision was made during the Olympic Council of Asia’s 44th General Assembly, with Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya emphasizing the nation’s commitment to sports development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
