The second phase of the 2024 general election is set to take place on April 26, with voting in 88 constituencies across 13 states. Over 15.88 crore voters are expected to cast their ballots in this phase, which includes states like Kerala, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal. A total of 1,202 candidates are in the fray, including prominent leaders like Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, and Rajeev Chandrasekhar. The Election Commission has deployed over 16 lakh polling officials to ensure a smooth and fair election process.
