Legendary guitarist David Gilmour has announced the release of his highly anticipated solo album, ‘Luck And Strange’, marking his first solo project in nine years. The album’s lead single, ‘A Piper’s Call,’ will be unveiled on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show on April 25th, accompanied by a music video set for release the following day. Recorded over five months in Brighton and London, ‘Luck And Strange’ features collaborations with Gilmour’s wife, Polly Sampson, and producer Charlie Andrew (Alt-J, Wolf Alice). The album’s tracklist includes eight original compositions and a reimagined version of The Montgolfier Brothers’ ‘Between Two Points,’ showcasing an eclectic blend of guest musicians and contributions from Gilmour’s family.
