Waldwick softball defeated Emerson 7-5, breaking a six-year losing streak. Abbey Woodward’s grand slam in the second inning proved to be the difference-maker, driving in six RBIs. Strong defensive plays by Carleigh Nocito and Hailey Zirpoli contributed to the win.
