Zayed International Airport (AUH) in Abu Dhabi has unveiled a groundbreaking new U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) preclearance facility, the first of its kind in the Middle East and Asia. This partnership between Abu Dhabi Airports, Etihad Airways, and U.S. CBP streamlines travel to the U.S., allowing Etihad passengers to complete immigration formalities in Abu Dhabi before departure, significantly reducing wait times upon arrival in the US.
Etihad Airways and Be Relax have partnered to open a state-of-the-art spa in the Etihad Lounge at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH). The 24/7 spa offers a range of wellness services, including massages, hair and nail care, and unique Sophrology sessions, providing travelers with a relaxing and rejuvenating experience before their flight.
From May 6th to May 20th, 2024, Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi will be hosting an interactive pop-up event titled ‘Meet Me in Shanghai.’ This immersive experience will provide travelers with a taste of Shanghai’s vibrant culture, iconic landmarks, and culinary delights. Engaging activities include the Shanghai Immersive Parallax Photo Booth, themed zones featuring a Shanghai Coffee Shop and Xiaolongbao Shop, and an Instagram competition with exciting prizes.
