Telangana Revenue Officer Arrested, Assets Worth ₹6 Crore Seized in ACB Raid

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Telangana conducted a raid on the residence of Dasari Narendar, the incharge revenue officer of Nizamabad Municipal Corporation, and seized assets worth over ₹6 crore. The agency has registered a case of disproportionate assets against Narendar, alleging he acquired the assets through corrupt practices. The raid yielded ₹2.93 crore in cash, ₹1.1 crore in bank balances, gold worth ₹6 lakh, and 17 immovable properties valued at ₹1.98 crore. Narendar was arrested and produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases Court in Hyderabad. The video of the raid has gone viral on social media, with netizens praising the ACB’s vigilance and calling for stricter action against corruption.
