The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Telangana conducted a raid on the residence of Dasari Narendar, the incharge revenue officer of Nizamabad Municipal Corporation, and seized assets worth over ₹6 crore. The agency has registered a case of disproportionate assets against Narendar, alleging he acquired the assets through corrupt practices. The raid yielded ₹2.93 crore in cash, ₹1.1 crore in bank balances, gold worth ₹6 lakh, and 17 immovable properties valued at ₹1.98 crore. Narendar was arrested and produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases Court in Hyderabad.
