CID Granted Six-Day Custody of Accused in Neha Hiremath Murder Case

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has been granted six days of custody of accused Fayaz in the murder case of student Neha Hiremath. The CID had requested custody of the accused for further questioning after taking over the investigation. Neha’s father expressed satisfaction with the investigation’s progress and the establishment of a special court for the case. Meanwhile, students from the National Students Union of India (NSUI) protested outside KLE Technological University, demanding justice for Neha and severe punishment for the accused.
