Tripura Sees Tourism Boom, Bolsters Infrastructure with ADB Loan

Tripura’s tourism sector has seen a significant surge, attracting over 545,000 tourists in 2023-24. To further enhance tourism infrastructure, the state secured a loan of INR 180 crore from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This funding will support the renovation of historical landmarks like Pushpabanta Palace and Tripureswari Temple, as well as the development of adventure tourism activities.
