UK University Admissions Standards for International Students Remain Robust: Review

A comprehensive review commissioned by Universities UK has found no evidence to support claims that UK universities are lowering entry standards for international students applying to foundation courses. The review, conducted by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), determined that entry requirements for international students are generally on par with those for UK students on comparable courses. However, the review highlighted that international students have more opportunities to resit exams, which has sparked further discussion and recommendations for standardized assessment practices.
