Kia has commenced production of its EV9 electric SUV in Georgia, marking several significant milestones. It is the first EV assembled in Georgia, creating new jobs in the United States. Additionally, the domestic production shift qualifies the EV9 for the federal EV tax credit, reducing its price by $7,500. The base model will start at $48,895, down from $56,395, while the Light Long Range RWD and Wind e-AWD models will see similar price reductions.
