A colossal 10-foot alligator caused a temporary shutdown of takeoffs and departures at a Florida Air Force Base after it wandered onto the tarmac. The incident occurred on Monday morning, and the alligator was eventually captured and relocated to the Hillsborough River. Wildlife officials believe the alligator was displaced from its home by an even larger alligator named Elvis.
