Indian Air Force to Host Grand Air Show in Chennai

The Indian Air Force is hosting a spectacular air show at Chennai’s Marina Beach on October 6th, celebrating its 92nd anniversary. This two-hour spectacle will feature 72 aircraft, including Rafale, SU-30, MIGs, Jaguars, and Tejas, showcasing their aerial prowess. The event, themed ‘Bhartiya Vayu Sena – Saksham, Sashakt, Atmanirbhar,’ marks the first such display in Chennai in two decades.

Major Zachary Taylor, Thunderbird #2 Left Wing Pilot, highlighted the teamwork and dedication behind the awe-inspiring performance. The Thunderbirds, with six jets performing in close formation and solo jets, travel extensively, bringing their thrilling performances to cities across the country. For Florida native Major Taylor, performing in his home state and flying over Panama City Beach held special significance.
