airBaltic Embraces RECARO Economy Class Seats for Enhanced Passenger Comfort

Latvia’s airBaltic has partnered with RECARO Aircraft Seating to equip its Airbus A220-300 fleet with cutting-edge economy class seats. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, making airBaltic the first European and second global airline to feature these innovative seats on the A220-300 aircraft. The RECARO seats prioritize passenger comfort, boasting features such as extra padding, integrated headrests, ample legroom, and individual USB-C power outlets at each seat. The aircraft’s interior will maintain a cohesive design with light grey leather upholstery. airBaltic anticipates the introduction of the first A220-300 aircraft equipped with these seats in 2026.
