Geneva Airport and Singapore Airlines are discussing the possibility of launching direct flights between Geneva and Singapore, driven by high-demand from business travelers and robust economic ties between the two cities. While the shortage of Airbus A350 aircraft presents a challenge, the potential for a lucrative route is fueling optimism for a successful partnership.
Lufthansa has announced updates to its winter flight schedule, including the resumption of non-stop flights from Munich to Sao Paulo, Vancouver, Bangalore, Cape Town, and Johannesburg. The airline will also introduce its new Allegris cabin interior on select routes and continue to offer flights on the iconic Airbus A380 to Bangkok, Delhi, and Los Angeles.
Korean Air is reportedly in discussions with Boeing to purchase at least ten Boeing 777X aircraft. If the order is confirmed, it would be the third deal for the 777X this year and marks a shift for Korean Air, which has recently favored Airbus aircraft. The airline’s current fleet includes Airbus A380s and Boeing 747-8s, some of which are aging and due for replacement. The 777X is advertised with a capacity of up to 426 passengers in a typical two-class configuration, filling a gap in Korean Air’s fleet.
