Air India has launched its brand-new Airbus A350-900 aircraft on the Delhi-London Heathrow route, marking a significant step in its transformation program. Korean Air is reportedly in discussions with Boeing to purchase at least ten Boeing 777X aircraft. If the order is confirmed, it would be the third deal for the 777X this year and marks a shift for Korean Air, which has recently favored Airbus aircraft. The airline’s current fleet includes Airbus A380s and Boeing 747-8s, some of which are aging and due for replacement. The 777X is advertised with a capacity of up to 426 passengers in a typical two-class configuration, filling a gap in Korean Air’s fleet.
