Sift Kaur Samra and Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar emerged victorious in the women’s and men’s 50m rifle 3 positions (3P) Olympic Selection Trial (OST) finals, respectively. Samra, the Asian Games champion and world record holder, won back-to-back competitions with a score of 465.1, followed by Ashi Choksey and Anjum Moudgil. Tomar claimed the men’s 3P T2 final in a thrilling finish, edging out Akhil Sheoran by a narrow margin of 0.22. The qualification round for the men’s and women’s 10m air rifle and air pistol T2 also took place, with Nancy topping the women’s air rifle, Sandeep Singh leading the men’s air rifle, Rhythm Sangwan heading the women’s air pistol, and Sarabjot Singh coming first in the men’s air pistol qualification.
