The LoRa Alliance, the global association driving the adoption of the LoRaWAN standard for IoT, has appointed Alper Yegin as CEO and Olivier Beaujard as Board Chair. This leadership change signals a new phase of rapid growth for LoRaWAN as the technology enters the ‘hockey stick ramp’ of widespread adoption, driven by robust network availability and a growing ecosystem of devices. The Alliance is also adopting a new operating structure, separating the CEO and Board Chair roles for greater efficiency and accountability.
