The Bengaluru Traffic Police have announced a temporary traffic prohibition in Panathur Village, Bengaluru, on May 29 and 30 due to the upcoming Palakki Utsav. Vehicle movement will be restricted at the Pantur railway underpass during the festival. As a result, the police have suggested alternative routes for commuters to avoid inconvenience. Travelers heading towards Kadubisanahalli from Varthur can use Kundalahalli gate via Vib Gear School Road, while those moving from the junction can take Horavartula Road to reach Kundalahalli. Similarly, vehicles traveling towards Varthur from Kadubisanahalli Junction can utilize the route via Horavartula Road and Vib Gear School Road. Motorists are advised to cooperate with the traffic authorities and call 112 for immediate assistance in case of any emergency.

The Karachi Traffic Police has extended road closures until 7pm due to security measures for Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi’s visit. The closures include Sharea Faisal, MA Jinnah Road, and Sharea Quaideen. Mobile phone services have also been disrupted in some areas. Police have deployed units at various sites, and citizens are advised to use alternative routes.
