Congress-JD(S) Workers Clash in Hubballi Over Prajwal Revanna Sex Video Case

Amidst the ongoing blame game over the Prajwal Revanna ‘sex video’ case, a scuffle erupted between Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) workers in Karnataka’s Hubballi. The clash occurred outside a hotel where the JD(S) Core Committee meeting was being held. Police intervened to prevent further escalation. Earlier, JD(S) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy had announced Prajwal Revanna’s suspension from the party until the completion of the probe by a Special Investigation Team (SIT). Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticized the Congress for inaction despite being in power in the state, while the National Commission for Women sought a report from the Karnataka Police within three days. The Congress has accused the BJP of helping the MP escape from the country, an allegation that the BJP has denied.
