IHG Hotels & Resorts and Kajima Corporation have entered into a management contract to open ANA Holiday Inn Resort Karuizawa in 2025. Located at an altitude of 1,300 meters in the scenic Asama wilderness, the resort will feature 100 guest rooms, 2 pet-friendly villas, a restaurant, natural hot springs, a gym, and an indoor swimming pool. The adjacent grounds offer a ski slope, an 18-hole golf course, and other year-round activities. Once open, the hotel aims to attract both domestic and international guests through IHG’s global network and loyalty program, IHG One Rewards, complementing the existing Hotel Indigo Karuizawa.
