BJP-NDA Clean Sweep in Andhra, YSRCP, TDP, Janasena ‘B’ Team of BJP: Modi, Rahul

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has predicted a clean sweep for the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. He said that he does not believe that the present government led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy will be voted back to power. Modi’s comments came during an interview with Telugu news channel NTV. He said that the BJP and TDP are fighting the elections as partners in the NDA, and that the Janasena Party is also with them this time. Modi added that he is confident that the NDA will win a majority of Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh and form the next government in the state. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi, meanwhile, claimed that the YSRCP, TDP, and Janasena are the ‘B’ team of the BJP in Andhra Pradesh. He said that the remote control of these three leaders is with PM Modi.

Congress Announces Candidates for Andhra Pradesh Polls, Replaces Some Earlier Declared

The Congress party in Andhra Pradesh has released a list of 28 additional candidates for the upcoming Assembly elections and replaced candidates in 10 constituencies. The party has now announced candidates for 154 constituencies out of a total of 175. The Congress is part of the INDIA bloc alliance, which includes the CPI and CPI(M). The bloc has allotted eight seats each to the CPI and CPI(M), with candidates for five seats yet to be announced.

Congress Unveils 38 Candidates for Andhra Pradesh Assembly Polls

The Congress party has released a list of 38 candidates for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh assembly elections scheduled for May 13. The list includes several new names and changes in candidates for various seats. Key candidates announced include Lakkaraju Rama Rao for Vishakapatnam North, Tumman Kalyan Aszal Ali Khan for Kadapa, Rajachakkonda John Babu for Guntur West, and Sunkara Padmasree for Vijayawada East.
