The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has issued a high-severity warning regarding vulnerabilities affecting multiple versions of the Android operating system. These vulnerabilities could allow hackers to steal sensitive information, exploit vulnerabilities to gain complete control over the device, install malicious software, monitor user activity, steal data, and even disrupt device functionality. The warning applies to Android versions 12, 12L, 13, and 14. Users are advised to update to the latest version of Android and be cautious while using suspicious apps, granting permissions, and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) to keep their devices safe.
