Punjab and Brazil Collaborate on Livestock Disease Management and Veterinary Medicine

Punjab, India, and Brazil are exploring scientific cooperation to address livestock ailments and boost animal health. The collaboration aims to monitor disease outbreaks, develop vaccines and medicines, and leverage Ayurvedic knowledge for veterinary treatments. The partnership seeks to enhance milk production and address challenges posed by diseases like LSD that have significantly impacted the livestock industry. The research projects will be funded jointly by Brazil and Punjab, and a joint working group will be established to facilitate collaboration.
