Afghan Refugee Cards Extended, New Special Court in Balochistan

The Pakistani government has extended the validity of Proof of Registration Cards (PoRs) for Afghan refugees until June 30, 2024. This extension provides access to education, banking, and other essential services. Additionally, a new special court has been established in Makran Division, Balochistan, to handle anti-narcotics cases. The cabinet also discussed improvements at Lahore and Karachi airports, and received updates on the Federal Investigation Agency’s operations and Pakistan International Airlines’ privatization process.
