Antwerp, Belgium, has been selected to host the World Tunnel Congress (WTC) 2027, marking the first time Belgium will host the event. The congress, which will take place from April 23 to April 29, 2027, is expected to draw over 2,700 experts from around the world to discuss the latest innovations and developments in tunnel and underground construction. The Belgian Tunnel Association (ABTUS-BVOTS), in partnership with the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA), will organize the event, with AIM Group Belgium serving as the Professional Congress Organizer (PCO). Antwerp Convention Bureau’s CEO, Tadeja Pivc Coudyser, said, “We are thrilled to host the World Tunnel Congress 2027 here in Antwerp.
