Aparna Yadav, the sister-in-law of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, has been appointed as a vice chairperson of the Uttar Pradesh State Women’s Commission. This appointment comes after she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) earlier this year, marking a significant political shift. The announcement was made by the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government, which also appointed Babita Chauhan as the chairperson.
