CBI Arrests Gujarat School Owner for Alleged NEET-UG Exam Malpractices

Patel is the sixth person arrested in this case, which involves allegations of demanding ₹10 lakh each from at least 27 candidates to help them clear the test. The CBI is investigating allegations of cheating and fraud related to the exam held at the school.

CBI Arrests Two in NEET-UG Paper Leak Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested two individuals in connection with the NEET-UG paper leak case. The accused, identified as Manish Kumar and Ashutosh Kumar, were apprehended in Patna, Bihar. The CBI formed special teams to investigate the case following the controversy surrounding grace marks and the high number of students scoring perfect scores. The NTA cancelled grace marks and conducted a re-test for 1,563 students, with only 52% participating.

Prajwal Revanna Arrested After Landing in Bengaluru Amid Sexual Abuse Allegations

Prajwal Revanna, the grandson of former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda and a suspended Janata Dal (Secular) leader, was arrested early this morning upon his arrival at Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport. He faces charges of sexually abusing multiple women. A special investigation team took him into custody. Revanna returned to India from abroad, where he had left the country on a diplomatic passport. He had been evading arrest after an anticipatory bail request was rejected by a special court in Bengaluru.
