Quaker Valley School District has appointed Jim Giovannitti as their new Assistant Finance Director. The decision was made by the school directors on April 24th, with an 8-0 vote. Giovannitti will work under the recently promoted Brooke Baker, who was appointed as the district’s director of finance and operations. He will officially commence his role on May 13th. Giovannitti’s background in accounting and extensive knowledge of school operations made him the ideal candidate for the position, which had around 10 other applicants. His expertise in data analysis and recommendations from previous colleagues were also contributing factors to his selection.
