Academy Award nominee Amy Adams is set to star in ‘At the Sea,’ a new drama from ‘Pieces of a Woman’ director Kornél Mundruczó. The film follows Laura (Adams), a woman returning to her family after rehabilitation, who must readjust to her life without the career that once defined her. ‘At the Sea’ is based on an original screenplay by Kata Wéber and is expected to begin filming in Boston this June.

Set for production in Boston in June, ‘At the Sea’ boasts an impressive production team, including Alexander Rodnyansky of AR Content, Stuart Manashil of Ryder Picture Company, and Alex Lebovici and Jon Oakes of Hammerstone Studios. Adams most recently starred in ‘Klara and the Sun’ and will appear in ‘Nightbitch,’ scheduled for release in December.
