The hurricane, which unexpectedly veered north, is now on a trajectory towards Atlantic Canada, potentially bringing high winds, heavy rainfall, and coastal flooding.

WestJet Group CEO Alexis von Hoensbroech recently visited Atlantic Canada, including St. John’s, Newfoundland, to meet with stakeholders and discuss the airline’s growing presence in the region. These enhancements include increased east-to-west domestic flights, resumption of seasonal transatlantic flights to London (Gatwick), and additional flights to popular winter sun destinations.
