A man in Pennsylvania was arrested after attempting to shoot a pastor during a church service. The incident, captured on camera, shows the suspect, Bernard Polite, pointing a gun at Pastor Glenn Germany. According to Germany, Polite claimed to have been influenced by voices in his mind telling him to carry out the shooting. While Polite was apprehended, police discovered the body of his family member, Derek Polite, who had been shot to death at his residence near the church. The suspect is facing charges of aggravated assault and attempted homicide.

A woman from Northeast Philadelphia named Omobolanle Paige has been arrested and charged with attempted homicide for allegedly running her car into five people outside a ShopRite grocery store. All but one of the five victims were women and they all sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Three of the women had to be hospitalized but the fourth woman and a 74-year-old male were treated at the scene. Paige was arrested at the scene and formally charged on Tuesday. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Friday.

Paul Kevin Nicholas Kerr, 30, of Allentown, has been sentenced to seven to 14 years in state prison for opening fire at Pagan’s Place bar on January 7, 2023. The incident occurred when Kerr was asked to leave the bar and refused. He argued with the owner, Luis Pagan, before leaving and firing several shots at the bar, with one bullet entering a window and four hitting an exterior wall.
