The death of Hvaldimir, a beluga whale known for wearing a harness in Norwegian waters, has been investigated. An autopsy revealed a stick lodged in the whale’s mouth, but no evidence of human activity directly causing its death. The whale, previously nicknamed a ‘Russian spy’ due to its harness, was found dead in southern Norway.

The Grand Traverse Sheriff’s Office has recovered the body of a missing boater in Green Lake. The body was located using sonar technology near the boat launch. The man’s identity has not been released, and the cause of his death remains under investigation.
