Robert Downey Jr. is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as Victor Von Doom, the infamous villain from the Fantastic Four comics. After a meeting with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, Downey was intrigued by the possibility of playing Doom and convinced Disney CEO Bob Iger of his vision. He will headline the upcoming Avengers films, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars.’
