Former Nigerian Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Hadi Sirika, has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with an alleged $6.3 million fraud. The investigation surrounds contracts awarded to Engirios Nigeria Limited, a company owned by Sirika’s brother, Abubakar Sirika. The ex-minister is suspected of money laundering, conspiracy, and contract inflation.
