London Stansted Airport Prepares for Busy Bank Holiday Weekend and Half-Term Break

London Stansted Airport is anticipating a surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming bank holiday weekend and half-term break, with an estimated 430,000 passengers expected to pass through the airport from May 25 to June 2. Over the three-day weekend alone, nearly 150,000 travelers are anticipated to depart from Stansted, with 50,000 departures scheduled for Saturday. Popular destinations for sun-seekers include the Canary Islands, Turkey, Spain, Italy, and Dubai, while Dublin, Edinburgh, and Barcelona are favored choices for city breaks. The airport is also expecting a significant influx of international visitors, with over 845,000 passengers expected to arrive during the half-term holiday.
