MLB Players’ Union Seeks Court Confirmation of Agent Decertification

The Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) has filed a complaint in federal court, seeking confirmation of an arbitrator’s decision to deny a challenge by a baseball agent seeking to block his decertification by the union. The agent, William Arroyo of Bad Bunny’s Rimas Sports firm, along with two company executives, attempted to obtain a temporary restraining order to prevent the union’s actions. However, the arbitrator, Michael Gottesman, denied their request.
