Two dog training classes will commence on April 30 at the Northbrook Park District, offering opportunities for puppies and older dogs to enhance their skills and socialization. Certified trainer Melissa Parker will lead both classes, utilizing positive reinforcement techniques. The “Puppy Beginnings” class focuses on fostering comfort and socialization for puppies aged 2-4 months, while the “Basic Behaviors Dog Training” class aims to build communication for dogs aged 5 months and up. Class sizes will be limited to maximize individual attention and minimize distractions.
